Why College Education Is Important To Me?

Nowadays, a college education is not just a qualification a person should elect to partake; it is an essential part for the overall success of the individual in general. Certain individuals find it challenging to define the worth of a college instruction. Attaining a college graduation offers a greater remuneration, more prospects and self-fulfilment. Although I concur with the aforementioned explanations, I have supplementary reasons I agree that a college education is of high importance to me.

First, college education will permit me to afford a better living standards for my family and household. We have survived without what several people consider to be basic. Buying a house, annual holidays, frequent camping expeditions, all-terrain cars and speedboats are all only a fantasy to my family. By attaining a college degree, I can secure my dream profession and begin to make those fantasies an actuality.

Second, it will offer motivation to my kids. Not only will the degree provide me with a better position to take part in my children’s classrooms assignments at school, I will similarly be helpful in the life choices they will want to pursue being a role model for them. Attempting to get a college education after marriage with children may also be challenging and may require me to put off those decisions to raise a family. However, currently with the enormously fast progress in technology, attaining an education will be made considerably easy.

Patty Murray noted “A good education means learning to read, write and most importantly learn how to learn so that you can be whatever you want to be when you grow up”(Vavrus, 2002). Securing a college degree will assist in eliminating several obstacles and providing me with the opportunities to improve and provide myself with a more prosperous life that I can consider satisfying and fulfilling. In the contemporary society, it is difficult to secure a good job or have an established profession without initially earning a college education. A college degree is imperative to increase my chance to afford my loved ones a better life. The degree will support me to advance myself and transform me into a more equipped individual for stepping out into the diverse globe. This is vital so I can act as a role model to individuals surrounding me; to be a figure they will look up to, respect, and hopefully stimulate them to finish their education. It retells me of the words John F. Kennedy mentioned in the Proclamation on the 25th of July, 1961. He advised, “Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest ability, because in each of us is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefits for everyone and greater strength for our nation” (Kennedy & Frost, 2013).

In conclusion, it will provide me a sense of pride. My father and mother are high school alumni. However, they lacked the chance to proceed to college. Fortunately, they have given me the opportunity to continue to college. They have toiled hard at their careers, which offered me a moral role model for work principles. Realising my degree will demonstrate achievement to my whole family. Nowadays, securing a college education is vital to my prospering in the professional objectives I have fixed for myself. Selecting a college to assist with those aims is just as significant. By evaluating my requirements and my goals, I understand that obtaining an education degree and constant education forth on as such is an impeccable choice.

Why College Education Is Important to Me

Why College Education is important to me?, It’s so important to me because it ONE of the most pompous thing you need in this world today to get somewhere in life, and survive so you can support yourselves, and yours kids. When I see the words “College Education” First thing pop up in my Mind is my Mother Smile, able to make her proud!, Not to be worried about her little baby-girl taking on this big world By herself. And to able to give her a little peace of mind that “I can” survive and support myself because I finished my College Education to get a Higher paying job and not Struggle.

Another good reason why College Education is so important to me so I can be a Motivation for my younger sibling also nieces and nephew to see me “FINISHED” College to persuade them to follow in my footsteps to help them in their own lives, and be a inspiration for them, so that one day they realize that its not as hard as some people make it seems, that if you put your mind into it and have faith anything is possible

When I Finished High-school I knew that it wasn’t enough!, I knew a high school diploma wasn’t going to get me so far, but a Job in a fast-food restaurant or a sale clerk at a local store, and maybe a Apartment that I have to work two jobs to just pay all my bills and live, that’s not the life I wanted to choose for myself, so when I think about the words “College Education” I imagine myself working at good paying job with benefits or owning my OWN business, I see myself being a Homeowner and specially when I have kid’s able to pay for them when they go off to college.

I wish kids nowadays in this generation will understand a college education Is very important to achieve your dreams, in order to have better life, because children today need to know with a education you can be ANYTHING in life, they can be the next President of United State Of America if they finished college and have some motivations, so I hope for myself getting my Bachelor Degree in business show my friends and family anybody can or go back to school to Finished can be successful.

A College education can get you so Far in life just with a little motivation from knowing that a better education means a better job, better self-confidence and more motivation to achieve my goals in the job career that I have chosen. I feel achieving a college degree will help me climb up the ladder in the job I choose when I finished getting my Degree, I also feel that going after my dreams and achieving my goals and showing determination will help for my Future kids as they grow up to do the same.

The most important thing’s In my life is God, faith, Family, and my education to reach high to complete all my goals. Jim Rohn Quoited: “Unless you change how you are you will always have what you got.” I really like this quote because it speaks the truth if you don’t change the situation you in now, couple years later down the road you’ll be in the same situation procrastinating.

Another Quote from Brian Tracy Quoited “One of the marks of successful people is they are action oriented. One of the marks of average people is they are talk oriented.” this quote speaks to me, it saying that action speaks, you can talk, or you can prove yourself by your action’s, for me my action’s is getting a college education, so that I don’t have to talk, but let my action’s speaks for itself.

Why college education is important to me

College education is important to me because it will create more opportunities with my employer as well as increase my salary. I know some employers put more emphasis on a college education than others. Unfortunately, college education isn’t an option for some individuals. I know many people around me that couldn’t go to college due to conflicting obligations or lack of financial support. I am thirty-eight years old and am just now starting college. While I do see an importance for college education on some career paths, I also see that not all career paths require it.

My current employer now requires a college degree for any of their professional positions. My employment relationship with my company began through a high school co-operative program and, at the time, there was no requirement to possess a degree. Today, my position has been grandfathered in through seniority, but I need a degree for advancement in my career path; therefore, a college education is very important for me and my family and the advancement of my career. My salary will have the potential to double with a degree.

With my current career, I was able to advance to a certain point without a college education and was very satisfied with my advancement. However, as time has passed, I have come to see firsthand the value in post-secondary education. Right now I work with Auto-CAD drafting for engineering schematics, and the average draftsman will top out at $55K per year.1 I have personally praised college education within my work organization and promoted the awareness of the earnings and advancement potential for them. Many in our organization are now seeking opportunities to continue their education.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, an individual is 2.5% more likely to be unemployed if he/she doesn’t have a college education.2 The journey to continue my education has come with many emotions. I have been afraid, thinking that I will not be able to complete the course. I have had pride issues thinking that I am too old and too wise for college. I have been training college recruits with my employer for years. I actually oversee approximately one hundred fifty student workers, many of which have a Bachelor’s degree, and even some have a Master’s degree, in Engineering. As I watch these degreed students get promoted to other organizations with significant salary increases, I realize that education is the only difference between them and me.

While I do see a value in a college education, I also see the value in those that are on a technical path and will be working a career doing a trade. It takes both for our society to function. I am thankful to be blessed with the opportunity to advance my education. I am also thankful for the ability to better my family’s economic situation.
