Success is no longer measures by an organization profit margin. Today big businesses have to account for its success on various levels of group in its organizational achievements, community success, and personal growth in management and employees. Business that implement its resources on diversity, employee growth, and legal requirements not only eliminate unnecessary lawsuits but ensured that the organization is revered as the employer of choice. Diversity training

The development of exceptional diversity training class organizations extends their reach far beyond race, culture, gender, and workplace ethics. Successful diversity training within the organization provides employers with the tolls needed to attract new employees and retain a diversified work place. The implementation of diversified leadership and management training programs provide coaching to assist those skills of the individuals, thus creating exceptional employer and employee relationships. These training programs increase the organization abilities to grow, and reduces complaints as well as lawsuits filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for violation against the Civil Rights Act. The implementation of the Civil Rights act title VII prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, and national origin (EEOC., n.d.).

The needs and requirements for training within an organization ensure that all employees are present. Women, minorities, seniors, and disable worker are treated equally and all material presented in the training is not offensive in its contents. Lastly organizations that incorrectly report its training sessions as an expense or reporting reimbursement as income can harm the organization in the form of lawsuits as well as damage its reputation (Noe, R. A., 2008). Employee growth

Organization that successful establish diversity training promote employee growth. These men and women participate in continued education courses, career development, and counseling services that lead to promotions and internal career advancement. The continued success of managers and hourly employees advancing to salary position produces a rippled affect as managers’ provide insight to the organizations goals. Mangers begin work more closely with employers to coach, mentor, and provide insight into desired qualities that he or she may possessed but require training to develop them further. The end result is a reduction in stress increased productivity, increase in self-esteem, and a reduction in turnovers. Kraft foods and other large organization upon establishing this kind of employee training have developed life long relationship with employees by implementing recognition programs and service awards for safety as well as years employed. According to Noe, (2008) the different situations that can result in legal action against the organization include: Failure to meet training requirement, employee sustaining an injury during training or an injury outside of a training session. A Breach of confidentiality or defamation against an employee by an employer is also punishable by law and entitles the employee to punitive damages as a result of insult or injury to his or her character. It is also vital that organizations using or recopying copyrighted material within its training classes obtain permission as this is illegal and punishable by law. Businesses have to maintain and abide by federal and state regulations as well as local laws as these may permit or limit the amount of hours required by laws to maintain its status as a Limited liability company (LLC). Organizations established under an LLC must maintain a record and keep track of the hours spent on training as well as an accurate account of all employees attending these training sessions.

Whether the business or organization is a sole proprietorship, corporation or a limited liability company a superior legal advisor or team can only strengthen it effort for continued success and growth. The relationship between legal advisor and a team of lawyers is beneficial as he or she is well versed in the business goals and adjectives. He or she can provide influential perspectives on opportunities that may present themselves in the future that could harm or improve an organizations business or its reputation. A solid relationship between employer and legal advisor also ensure that an employer is knowledgeable of the laws in other states and acts accordingly as the laws vary from state to state. The continued evolution of business and equal employment laws has shape the way business is conducted. Employers have to work within the laws established as they work to become successful. Creating a work environment open to diversity enable to the company and employees to experience and develop respect for its fellow worker. Diversity within the workplace mean organization with federal contracts will continue to reap benefit and continued business as long as workplace diversity of women, and minorities met the guidelines imposed. Organizations that implement the guidelines of the Civil Rights act open the door to new hiring possibilities, knowledge, and untapped skills ensuring a brighter future for company and employees.

Successful diversity of the workplace enables organizations to gain new talents and skills from an untapped resource. The push for employers to acknowledge women, minorities, and those with disabilities as viable asset only enhances the continued success of the organization growth. Another plus for organization is the elimination of legal action implement from the lack of diversity within the workplace. Public sector organizations stand to lose more than their reputation when the organization lack diversity they also forfeit federal contracts that are valued to be worth millions of dollars. Though the road travels is different for all business larger or small the fact that diversity, employee growth, and legal requirements shaped how companies conducted business.

Employee’s talents, happiness and productivity normally measures on a company’s overall prosperity. Corporate responsibility has become most important value in large organizations. This requires high levels of employee contribution. Community projects and promoting diversity helps companies develop symbiotic relationships with the surrounding environments. Working towards positive corporate culture will surly build the employee value over time. This paper will analyze key trainings that focus on legal requirements, diversity and employee growth, all focusing on larger companies. Legal Requirements

According to the article “Employee Training Development” written by Noe, the different situations that can result in legal actions in a organization include, failure to meet training requirements, employee sustaining injuries due or during training or a injury outside of the training session. The breach of Confidentiality against employees or an employer is also punishable by law and it entitles the employee to punitive damages as their result of injury to his or her character. It’s also vital that the organization that is using the copyright material within its training; that they obtain permission and that it is legal and punishable by law.

The business must maintain and abide by both federal and state regulations in addition to the local laws; because these laws may permit the amount of hours required by laws to maintain the status of a Limited Liability Company. Organizations that are established under a Limited Liability Company must keep track of an updated hour list that are spending on training and the people that participated in the trainings. The relationship between legal advisors and lawyers is extremely beneficial because he or she is well educated in the goals and objectives and can provide influential perspectives on any opportunities that can benefit the company in the future. The relationship between the employer and legal advisor is also important because they ensure that the employer is knowledgeable of the laws in other states as they are different depending on location of the business. Training Key areas

As a outside consultant I have decided to look into the Coca Cola business. I will be incorporating employee and organization motivations and information on offering training in three particular areas. These areas include legal requirements, diversity and employee growth. I will go into depth about what the organization will gain in offering the training and how the programs meet professional and personal employee needs. Coca Cola is the number one nonalcoholic beverage company and it is also the world’s most recognizable brand. This company is the home for five other top drinks as well which are coke, diet coke, fanta and sprite.

All of these combined are worth 16 billion dollars. They also have the world’s largest distribution system and can sell to more than 200 countries. Legal Requirements Coca Cola company believes in responsible corporate governance and they participate in political process to educate the U. S policy makers and help shape a reasonable policies that impact their business. This company also “complies legal requirements regarding contributions to political organizations, candidates for federal, state and local public office, ballot measure campaigns, political action committees and trade associations.

” Coca Cola’s involvement in these organizations and individuals is part of their commitment to the communities they operate in. All the political activity and contributions of the company and its also associated with (PACs) Political action committees. PACs complies with the U. S laws, regulations and legal reporting requirements. To make sure everything is in order all material is reviewed and approved by the Company senior government relations leaders and Company senior legal counsel.

Coca Cola also has some priority advocacy areas and this includes corporate taxation, restrictions or regulations and environmental policy. Corporate taxation- the company is subject to income tax in the U. S, they are able to advocate for tax reform which enables American-headquarters business to operate around the world on a competitive basis with other non-U. S based companies. Restrictions or Regulations- Coca Cola is a huge contributor to” the economy through local jobs, investments, taxes and community investment.

” This company is against discriminatory tax policies that single out certain beverages. Environmental Policy- This company also advocates for fair policies that impact water quality, packaging and ingredients/agriculture. Diversity Coca Cola already has a very organized company that is able to follow all the correct laws in order to be a successful company. The only training need in the legal requirements area is making sure the employees are aware what all the rules are in order to make sure they know what they are doing and all the laws are being followed.

Diversity in a company can range from language barriers, ethnicity, and even age. Coca Cola focus on a ongoing diversity training that is critical to the advancement of their ongoing journey. This company has created different types of diversity education programs to improve their efforts in reducing conflict and increase their ability to respect, value and leverage the difference to strive for “sustainable business results. ” They have broken down diversity into three parts this includes, diversity education, diversity speaker series and our diversity library.

The one going diversity training helps drive employee engagement, having a work environment that has values and leverages diversity and speeds up productivity. There is also supplier diversity training this helps associates understand how to leverage the “procurement power of the company by creating a pool of suppliers that include minority and women owned business. ” Coca Cola’s aspiration is to be the number one beverage company that connects their brand to an increasing diverse consumer base and having a great work environment will also provide their employees to be the best they can be.

Coca Cola already seems to have a great focus on their diverse employees and they embrace it really well. They already have created programs that will help their employees have a better understanding and also be able to strive for better. As an outside consultant I feel that Coca Cola has already established a good working program for their diverse employees. Nothing really needs to be changed or added to this portion. Employee Growth There can be many reason as to why to work for the Coca Cola company.

They have the ability to make a difference, be part of a diverse team, ability to grow, have a rewarding environment and much more. The Coca Cola company can help you make a difference in the world, it can be through human rights work or even just performing your job well, there are endless opportunities to make an impact and contribution to many communities. Since this company is so large the employees can have many options on where to want to be to further their career. There are over 200 countries and a full catalog of development programs, the “growth opportunities with this company are boundless.

” Working with diverse people can give you a better knowledge and better perspective on everything. At Coca Cola you can work with people who have different backgrounds and ideas. We can’t forget about the benefits and rewards that is also including for the employees. The most common elements of their total rewards programs include: base salary, annual incentives, long term incentives and benefits. The benefits are programs “to ensure that employees receive this and are provided with diverse options that address the issues of individuals and families and promote healthy lifestyles.

” Coca Cola has very strong business values and are very organized with how they want to run their business. Overall viewing this company from an outside perspective they are a very highly profitable company but also know the values and programs that need to be placed in order to stay successful. Introduction

At State Farm Insurance, they requires high levels of employee contribution, promoting, diversity to provide to the community. Working towards positive culture will build the employee value and moral over time. Today’s society requires businesses to account for its value on various levels, organizational achievements, community success, and personal growth of employees within State Farm. This paper will analyze key trainings that focus on legal requirements, diversity, and employee growth with larger organizations.

Legal Requirements

The different situations that can result in legal actions include failure to meet all training requirements, injuries sustained during a training session. It is vital that each organization uses the correct copyright material within orientation and that they obtain permission. If permission is not asked for or obtained, the organization is punished by law. State Farm Automobile Insurance Company is looking for ways to structure the workforce so as to minimize the expense of benefits. , State Farm Automobile Insurance Company may require overtime rather than hiring new employees. State Farm utilizes independent contractors rather than hiring employees. Some of their choices are limited by legal requirements. Fair Labor Standards Act requires employees to be paid for their overtime if the employee is nonexempt (Cretella, P, 2013). The Internal Revenue Service limits the definition of “independent contractors” so employees know the difference as a temporary and permanent employee.

Diversity

Great diversity training within State Farm’s organization provides employees with the proper tools needed to attract new employees and maintain a diversity workplace. The development of diversity training is more than race, gender, culture and ethics. These training programs are offered to each employee and increases the abilities of growth and reduces complaints and lawsuits filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). When a complaint is filed with the EEOC that can be for any violation against the Civil Rights Act Noe,R.A. 2008).

Women, minorities, senior citizens, and disabled workers are treated equally in training session. Diversity recognizes and respects people’s differences and realizes the full potential of promoting different cultures to all employees, staff, students, and consumers. The requirements for organizational training is ensuring all employees are present and none of the materials presented are offensive. Organizations that do not report expenses or reimbursement as income may harm the organization and damage their reputation.

Cultural sensitivity has become increasingly important providing a healthy and productive work environment. Although diversity training can’t change individual’s beliefs, it has the ability to increase awareness, impart knowledge and educate employees further as to how to accept differences among fellow employees. Diversity initiatives enacted by State Farm Insurance Companies help to optimize the money spent on employee salaries, benefits, recruitment and training. In addition, observers characterize diversity training in different ways. Its proponents consider it morally correct because it respects diversity, recognizing the value and contributions of every human being.

Employee Growth

State Farm is committed to retaining talented associates and inviting their best contributions. State Farm expects associates to be accountable for their development, with development plans built in collaboration with and support from team leaders. State Farm employees have a bias toward internal growth, supporting people who demonstrate a commitment to their own development with developmental plans. Managers begin to work closely with employees to mentor and provide them with any desired qualities that he or she may possess and be trained to further advance within the organization. The end result is more stress free environment and increase self-esteem and have fewer turn overs.

State Farm does not end training with the new employees. State Farm feels that there are always opportunities to connect with their employees to the company’s business needs and goals. Providing the employees with a structured training and development program ensures State Farm that employees are receiving experience and background knowledge consistent with trends, current topics relevant to the organization and any other needed support. State Farm employees are continuously receiving training also ensures that all of us have the same exposure to the organizations initiatives. State Farm invests in employee, which makes the employee feel valued and connected with the organization, resulting in the employee being more effective, creative, and loyal to the organization.

Results from legal requirements, diversity, and employee growth Continuously evolution of organizations and employee laws has shaped the way organizations conduct themselves. Creating a work environment that is open to diversity, enables the organization and employees to experience and develop respect for one another. Diversity in the workplace is when the organization has a diverse work place for women and minorities and all guidelines are met. State Farm implements the guidelines of the Civil Rights Act to having an open door policy for all new hires, knowledge, and untapped skills which ensures a bright future for employees and the organization (Cretella, P 2013).

Successful diversity of the workplace enable organizations to gain new talents and skills from an untapped resource. The push for employers to acknowledge women, minorities, and those with that are disabled as viable assets will only enhance the success of State Farm’s growth.

The road is open for all business and or organizations both large and small for diversity, employee growth, and legal requirements which assists with how the organization is conducted.
